How to Access MobileBiz Pro from a Computer

MobileBiz Pro is an Android app — there's no web or desktop version. But there are a few ways to get your data onto your computer for review, accounting, or record-keeping.


Option 1 — Export Data as a Spreadsheet (CSV)

Export your customers, items, invoices, quotes, and more as CSV files that open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app.

  1. Open the side menu and tap Manage Data.

  2. Tap Export CSV.

  3. Select the record type — Customers, Items, Invoices, Quotes, Sales Orders, or Cash Sales.

  4. Check "Send to email" if you want the file emailed to you automatically after export.

  5. Tap Export in the action bar. The CSV file is saved to your device and/or emailed to you.

Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets to view and work with your data on your computer.


Option 2 — Sync Files via Dropbox

If you use Dropbox, your backup files and exported CSVs are accessible from your computer through the Dropbox website or desktop app.

  1. Set up Dropbox — see How to Set Up Dropbox for Backups.

  2. Back up or export your data — backups land in mobilebiz-pro/db/ and exports in mobilebiz-pro/csv/ in your Dropbox.

  3. Open Dropbox on your computer and navigate to the mobilebiz-pro folder to download your files.


Option 3 — Email PDFs to Yourself

For individual invoices or reports, emailing the PDF is the quickest way to get a document onto your computer.

  1. Open an invoice from the Sales screen.

  2. Tap the email icon in the action bar.

  3. Address the email to yourself — the PDF attaches automatically.

  4. Open the email on your computer to view, save, or print the invoice.

You can do the same from the Reports screen — most reports have an Email CSV results or Email PDF results option in the More menu.


Good to Know

  • Your data lives on your Android device. The options above are how you bridge it to a computer — there is no web login or desktop app.
