You paid for Plus, but the app still shows the free version. Your subscription isn't lost — work through these steps in order and most people are back in a couple of minutes.
1. Update the App, Then Restore
- Open the Play Store and update MobileBiz Pro if an Update button is shown — older versions had trouble recognizing subscriptions.
- Open MobileBiz Pro and open the side menu — at the very bottom, tap "Subscribe to Plus." (Says "Subscription" with a Plus badge instead? This device already recognizes Plus.)
- Tap Restore in the top-right corner. You'll need an internet connection.
If you see "No active subscription found" right after subscribing, that's normal — new subscriptions can take a few minutes to register. Try Restore again.
2. Didn't Work? Check Things on Google's Side
MobileBiz Pro relies on the Google Play Store app to detect your subscription. The usual culprits — signed in with a different Google account, a stale Play Store cache, a payment problem — are covered in Google's own guides:
While you're in the Play Store app, tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions and check both Subscriptions (any payment warning on MobileBiz Pro?) and Budget & order history (were you actually charged?).
3. Restart Your Phone, Then Restore Again
After fixing anything above, restart your phone and open MobileBiz Pro. (Just leaving the app and coming back isn't enough — it needs a fresh start.) If Plus still isn't detected, tap Restore once more.
Good to Know
- Plus follows your Google account, not one phone — sign in with the same account on any device and tap Restore.
- None of this touches your business data — your invoices and records are never affected.
4. Still Nothing? Email Support
Been through everything and Plus still isn't showing? Send us two emails and we'll take it from there:
-
Forward the receipt email from Google — search your inbox for "Your Google Play order receipt." Forward the email itself, not a screenshot, and make sure it's the Google receipt (order number starts with GPA-) — not a PayPal or bank receipt.
-
Email us from inside the app — open the side menu, then Settings › About & support › Contact Us (this includes your device details automatically). Attach screenshots of:
- the accounts in your Play Store app (if you have more than one)
- the Play Store Subscriptions screen
- the Budget & order history screen
…and tell us which of the steps above you've already tried.
With those, we can look up your exact purchase and sort it out from our side.
Still stuck? Contact Support for help.
