If the totals section is missing from your PDF, or the line amounts look wrong (for example, showing net amounts so the figures don't seem to add up), the fix is in your print template. Both checks below are done in the template editor:
-
Open any invoice and tap Edit (pencil icon) in the action bar.
-
Tap Print Preview, then tap Customize to open the template editor.
If Line Amounts Don't Add Up
The last column of the line item table — usually headed Amount — must use the right data tag to show the correct line amount.
-
In the template editor, tap the Table Columns section.
-
Find the last column (the Amount column) and check its data tag. It should be
{LINE.GROSS}— this shows the full line amount. If it's set to a different tag, the column can show net figures that don't match your totals. -
To fix it, edit that column's value, tap Tags, and insert the line gross amount tag.
If Totals Rows Are Missing
Each row of the totals section — Subtotal, Discount, Tax, Total, and so on — has its own visibility setting.
-
In the template editor, tap the Totals section.
-
Check each row you expect on the PDF: it should have Show always ticked, or Show when not zero if you only want it when it has a value (typical for Discount). A row with neither ticked is hidden entirely.
-
Tap the Save (disk) icon, then generate the PDF again to confirm the totals appear and add up.
